In order to allow the sweetness of one's practice to wash over and cultivate a nurturing cocoon, savasana has to be physically comfortable and serving to the practice.

Beginning under November's Full Moon, we spend one week on each pose (online) but you will have 3 months to complete the course. Each section will be unlocked upon the completion of the prior one.

During our time together, we will unpack the anatomy & energetic signature of five restorative asana/poses:
Savasana & Basic Relaxation Pose
Supta Baddha Konasana (Reclining Bound Angle) & Simple Supported Pose
Salamba Balasana (Supported Child's Pose)
Savasana prone/face down
Supported Side Lying pose
This study will create a deeper understanding of the meditations paired with each pose. This course will require minimal props, enhance stillness within the practitioner, and are prenatal/postpartum appropriate.
The intentions of this course are for existing yoga teachers to continue on with studies and for anyone wishing to deepen their personal practice. The course will include a video lecture of each pose with all basic variations paired with an audio guided meditation for personal practice. There will also be an audio lecture of suggestive theme pairing and sequencing which would serve each final pose best to truly cultivate an embodied savasana. Beginning under November's Full Moon, we spend one week on each pose but you will have 3 months to complete the course. Each section will be unlocked upon the completion of the prior one. There will be homework and journal assignments for those who request Yoga Alliance CE credit. If you wish to continue on with advanced restorative yoga studies, there will be an alumni discount applied to your continued studies.
