Participants develop self awareness and regulation utilizing unique poses that reflect how the body responds in different life circumstances.
Type of Event
This two hour workshop does not require any yoga experience. Participants wear comfortable clothes in which they can move. Bring a yoga mat if you have one or rent one at Serasana.
Using standing, sitting or lying down "forms," you will discover your body’s unique response to areas of your life such as relationships, parenting, health, work, social, etc. This is your body’s way of sharing with you the emotions locked within over a period of time. The rules, patterns and habits you have been using to function in life may or may not have served you well up to this point. Through suggestion, you will notice your body’s true response and perhaps thought patterns.
We all desire to live and function as our true self but “things” get in the way that prevent us from enjoying life from this place. As you discover how you show up, you may desire different choices that help you evolve into the YOU that exists within.
These "forms" are a way to begin exploring and practicing a new way of being without the stress of a real situation. There usually is at least one area in our life we wish to change or understand and this work supports us over time through the change we want so much.
