Full Description

This 3-hour workshop is designed for anyone who has experienced muscle tension with aches and pains which appear to be unmanageable.
Myofascial pain and dysfunction is becoming very well-known and the research suggests that is simply a question of Trigger Points.
Trigger points are knotted muscles that can be extremely sensitive to the touch, and they may be the cause of issues in other areas of the body.
Having some basic understanding of trigger points and how you can personally manage them is an opportunity for you to help yourself be free of pain. You will:
* learn to identify Trigger Points using props and specific self-care techniques
* be guided through a simple self-care method designed to aid in the release of the TrPs causing tensions and/or pain
* able to recognize how unique your body is due to the limited range of motion in certain joints
* able to re-establish the tissue's functional range
