Essential Low Back Program
Have you heard that viniyoga can be very helpful in reducing back pain? This series of classes is based on the Essential Low Back Program that was used in a National Institutes of Health study in the In the study, published in the Annals of Internal Medicine, 78% of participants had significant reductions in their pain levels and showed continued improvement in their condition 26 weeks later.

Included in the price of this course: The Essential Low Back Program book (85 pages) and MP3 CD which contains five yoga practices.
Join us as we spend six weeks strengthening and stretching the low back, building core strength and focusing on the key yogic principles of stability and ease. We'll discuss anatomy, bring awareness to posture and reflect on habits that can help and hinder our condition.
You will learn how to do yoga on your own to care for your back. As part of this course, please plan to do a gentle home yoga practice and light reading that will support the work we do in class.
