Feeling the Elements: a Forrest Yoga workshop with Claire Mace, will be held at the beautiful location of Ellin’s Tower near South Stack, on the holy island. Bring a picnic to share afterwards and maybe take a walk – you may be able to spot peregrine falcons, choughs and harbour porpoises. £25 for three hours of yoga and ceremony.
In this workshop we’ll explore how we experience the world around us through our senses. We live in a very visual culture, but what happens when you close your eyes and experience the world though your ears and through your sense of feeling?
We’ll work deeply to connect to our cores. What happens when we consciously move our awareness to the ‘second brain’ in the gut? We’ll also explore the four elements: fire, earth, water, air as a way of connecting to ourselves and the world around us.
All levels are welcome, whether you’ve just taken a few yoga classes or are a yoga teacher, and modifications will be given where needed.
The workshop will be led by Claire Mace, at the beautiful and dramatic location of Ellin’s Tower near South Stack, on the holy island. Bring a picnic to share afterwards and maybe take a walk – it’s a great time of year to see all the seabirds on the cliffs
