This holiday includes
7 nights in a typical restored tuscan villa
3 yummy healthy vegetarian meals a day, from local organic ingredients
6 uplifting morning sessions, each lasting 2 hours, invigorating and cleansing for the mind and body
5 restorative/therapeutic evening sessions, which can include meditation and yoga nidra

There will be a morning and an evening practice each day. The morning sessions are invigorating and cleansing for the mind and body, and the evening practise incorporates meditation, yoga nidra and relaxation. One free day or two evenings to allow time for excursions and visit the local area.
You have time to be still and silent, or as active as you feel – a chance to relax, renew and restore with like minded people. The setting is quiet, rustic and an ideal place for spiritual practice. This week will give students the opportunity to practice yoga in an environment which is calm and relaxing. each individual will have the opportunity to practice at his/hers own level, making the week suitable for students of different abilities and those who may have practiced other yoga disciplines.
Meals will be mostly vegetarian organic and locally produced whenever possible. No alcohol during this week, except last evening meal to celebrate “Ferragosto” around a bonfire.
Set in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, Le Pianore villa and organic farm is cradled between the medieval hilltop towns of Montelaterone and Monticello Amiata. Surrounded by woodlands, vineyards, olive groves and mountain streams, it is a private haven ideally suited to creative exploration and spiritual practice: with its spectacular views and untouched landscapes, it imparts a real sense of freedom.
The estate, with its beautifully restored villas and studio spaces, is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding countryside, from the slopes of the Monte Amiata down to the Maremma coast. Slow down and indulge the senses: visit world-renowned vineyards, dip into ancient Roman thermal baths, explore Etruscan tombs and stroll through Renaissance villages. Or simply relax and make yourself at home in a profoundly peaceful setting.

Margherita’s yoga retreats build from one day to the next, enabling the group to make significant progress in their practice with a toolbox of skills that they can take back home with them.
Margherita welcomes all levels except absolute beginners. The therapeutic alignment of her work is for anyone who would like to gain a strong foundation for a lifelong practice, and for those who experience chronic pain or limitation of movement in the work.
