RETREAT SESSIONS
Sankalpa Creation: Sankalpa is your deepest, most heartfelt wish or desire. After you arrive and get settled in your room, our team of teachers will be on hand to share afternoon tea and help you create an intention or affirmation for the weekend.

Gourmet Vegetarian Meals, Opening Circle and Beach Bonfire: Throughout the weekend our delicious vegetarian meals will be provided by a professional chef dedicated to our group. On Thursday night we’ll start our retreat experience by coming together full circle to create a group altar and get to know one another. A beach bonfire will follow, weather permitting.

Yin Yoga: Yin yoga is a particular style of Hatha yoga intended to help you reclaim your own space and mobility in the body using long-held stretches and postures. Yin yoga focuses mostly on the connective tissues of the legs, hips and spine. Because the postures are generally held for 3-5 minutes, the experience is more meditative.

Morning Sadhana: Mornings will be dedicated to a meditation practice incorporating mantra and movement. Bring in the day by utilizing the power of what the Earth has to offer in this beautiful setting: ocean waves, tides and sun.

Yoga Nidra: Yoga Nidra translates to “yogic sleep” in which the body goes to sleep and the mind remains alert. During this session you'll be asked to focus on your sankalpa, and then be verbally guided through a 30-45 minute practice in savasana. We’ll follow up our Yoga Nidra with time spent in silence to allow you the opportunity to process and integrate your
thoughts, emotions and experiences.

Closing Circle: We’ll come together full circle once again on Sunday before heading home. You’ll leave the retreat feeling refreshed and invigorated … and having met a group of amazing women to share and support your continuing journey!

Early Registration price is $535 UNTIL August 31, 2016. A non-refundable $250 deposit will reserve your space, with remainder due by September 15. Late Registration begins September 1, 2016 and the price increases to $635. There are 4 upgraded private rooms available for additional cost - see squareup for prices. RESERVE YOUR SPOT TODAY
In order to keep costs low for our attendees, we have a limited number of single twin-size beds available. Register early to ensure a spot in your own bed. Later registrations may require that you share a king-size bed with another attendee. Please notify us if you are attending the retreat with a friend or relative so that we can ensure that you are in a shared space.

We have 3 different options for sleeping arrangements.

*Two private rooms with king bed and private bath.

*Two private rooms with queen bed & shared bath. Bath is shared with one person.

*Twenty one shared room and shared bath. These will vary & we will accomodate all requests as best we can, on a first come first served basis.

ABOUT US
Journey Women is comprised of Jenny E. Orona, Rebecca G. Risher and Sarah Sullivan. All Journey Women teachers carry 200hr and/or 500hr certifications in the yoga styles they teach, in addition to many years of combined experience as facilitators, community leaders, and practicing artists and healers.
