A typical day:
As the sun rises, enjoy a morning meditation on the beach, tie up those runners and go for a beach run, or have a lie. It’s your vacation and your call!
We’ll meet in the fitness room each morning for an AfterBurn workout led by our expert trainer Jeremy Trostel. You’ll get high energy, fun, and challenging workouts designed to burn maximum fat and tone your entire body in only 30-45 minutes.
The specialized Afterburn workouts use a combination of (HIIT) High Intensity Interval Training and Active Rest Training to get your body to burn more fat and calories than traditional workouts that are twice as long.
Whether you're new to working out or you're an experienced fitness buff he will help to modify every workout so that you'll achieve your goals!
We’ll replenish with a power protein smoothie and some agua, while making our way to the yoga shala (which is a grueling two minute walk☺) .
You’ll then be led in a vinyasa flow yoga class with a view of the sea and those beautiful sea breezes. The flow yoga taught by Kathy Parsons, is a creative sequence of connecting hatha poses designed to connect body, mind, and spirit through strengthening, lengthening and opening. There will be a particular focus on stretches that complement our fitness classes. The classes are set to inspiring music and incorporate a special savassana massage. The classes are suitable for all levels of yogi’s.
Kathy’s goal is to have every student finish class feeling lighter and more grounded than they were when they started (and smiling and laughter is encouraged!).
The second yoga class (usually in the late afternoon or evening) will be more stretch and restorative in nature.
There are two organic, healthy meals served each day by an expert local chef using only the best ingredients grown nearby. The menu is designed to give you the protein and nutrients you need to fuel your body for optimal performance.
After dinner there will be plenty of time for socializing, chilling or exploring the nightlife nearby. We'll also have a bonfire on our last night!
