Full Description

In this training we will cover Asana (postures) extensively, Basic Anatomy, Alignment, Energy Anatomy (Chakras), Pranayama (breath), learn how to sequence postures and how to give safe assists. We will also cover injury prevention, teaching to special populations and the business of yoga. You will get lots of teaching practice so as to gain confidence and connect with your own true voice as teacher. We will discuss the Eight Limbs of Yoga, study the Yamas and Niyamas and basic yoga philosophy. You will finish the course with a sound foundation in teaching methodology including creative sequencing, effective communication and graceful classroom management.

This is an opportunity to connect more deeply with your own authentic intention as a yoga practitioner and develop your ability to share this passion with others. With weekly yoga classes, weekend intensives and the culmination of an eight day immersion this will be a transformational and inspired experience!

Upon completion of the program you will receive a Certificate of Completion indicating that you have fulfilled the requirements to become a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, the Yoga Alliance standard nationally recognized for teaching yoga.
