Join renowned London yoga Teacher Naomi Absalom at at one of Europe's most exclusive yoga venues. Locanda del Gallo is simply stunning. A beautifully restored 12th Century farmhouse with spa, set amidst 28 acres of gardens, terraced lawn and woodlands. The Locanda sits atop the magnificent hills of Umbria’s unspoiled Italian countryside between Gubbio and Perugia, making this the ideal place to retreat, discover, and revitalize your spirit.

Each day we will have two yoga classes, except arrival and departure days and one morning mid-week which will be left free for you to explore further afield.
£775/ US$1295/ €950 per person in a double or twin room with bathroom shared between two rooms
£850/ US$1425/ €1050 per person in a double or twin room with its own bathroom
Price is based on 2 people sharing a twin/double and includes: 6 nights accommodation; 3 wonderful 3 course meals per day; all yoga tuition (twice daily except travel days and one morning off for you to explore further afield), and full use of the spa including steam room, hot tub and aromatic shower. Price does not include flights and transfers. Non-yoga partners are welcome at a £100 discount
Where possible we will arrange for lone travellers to share with someone suitable. A limited number of single supplements are available at a cost of £245 in a room with a shared bathroom and £295 in an ensuite room.
Flights and transfers. The most convenient airports are Perugia S. Egidio 15km; Rome, Fumincino and Campino airports 200km; Florence Peretola 170km; Ancona Falconara 130km; and, Bologna Forli 150km. For those wishing to transfer together we will meet at the train station in Rome at 2pm on May 25th and take the train together to Perugia and then share taxis to Locanda Del Gallo.

Enjoy swimming in the ecological chlorine-free infinity pool overlooking vast olive groves, relax in the outdoor jacuzzi whirlpool spa, or let your tensions slip away in the Moorish style spa and steam room. Savour the delicious healthy organic food – full of authentic Italian flavors prepared with vegetables straight from the gardens.

Enjoy the very finest traditions of Italian cuisine at the hands of Locanda's talented chef, Jimmy. Fabulous fresh pastas and risottos, organic tomatoes, salad leaves and vegetables from the kitchens garden. Olive oil from the olive grove, aromatic herbs from the garden, yogurt, cakes and homemade breads.
Beautiful grounds to
Stroll at leisure through the olive groves, inhale the scent of roses and herbs, or simply curl up with a book under the shade of the old elm tree. Every corner is another picture perfect view, a secret space to explore and enjoy.
Locanda's valley and the surrounding towns
Umbria is a paradise for nature lovers and culture seekers alike. We will be delighted to point out the many quiet paths and by-ways waiting to be explored in the valley surrounding Locanda Del Gallo. For those wishing to explore further we have a selection of mountain bikes at your disposal.
Beautiful paths and terraces provide secret spaces, pleasant strolls and stunning views at every twist and turn. There is a beautiful 1 hour round walk across streams and past our local waterfalls. Jacquen, our very freindly chocolate labrador is always a willing escort should you want company.
Gubbio, Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Spoleto and Orvieto. All Umbria's medieval towns are filled with history and treasures and are all a very pleasant drive away. In between classes and relaxing in the fabulous spa, why not take the opportunity to visit the basilica in historic Assisi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or Perugia, the home of Italian chocolate.
