Join us for a long weekend of re-grounding and re-connecting to nature in Prince Albert, at the gateway to the Great Karoo.

Guided by experienced FY Guardian Sandra Heider, immerse yourself in the powerful healing practices of Forrest Yoga, meditation, pranayama and Native American chanting. Enjoy delicious meals made from local ingredients by Ridwaan and Hermon from Simply Saffron and if you need to work up more of an appetite, take advantage of the excellent hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and the scenic drives in the Swartberg Mountains.
You will be sharing a comfortable cottage with other participants, or if you prefer to be on your own we'll arrange for a room at a B&B for a slightly increased price.
Prince Albert is in the Western Cape Karoo and is conveniently located 2 hours from George and 5 hours from Cape Town. It is well-known for its superb climate and its spectacular night skies. The quaint little town is a gem, with beautifully preserved Cape Dutch Karoo and Victorian buildings, thirteen of which are national monuments.
Sandra Heider has been practising yoga since 1999 and has been teaching since 2005 when she qualified as a 200 hour Yoga Teacher under the guidance of Dr. Brian Cooper. Sandra initially practised and studied Ashtanga Yoga, but moved into Jivamukti and Forrest Yoga in 2006. She completed the Jivamukti Yoga teacher training and the Forrest Yoga Foundation teacher training in 2007. Sandra is a certified Forrest Yoga Teacher and a Forrest Yoga Mentor. Since 2009 she has been assisting Ana Forrest at her workshops and teacher trainings throughout Europe.
Included in the retreat: accommodation for 5 nights (Wednesday-Monday); 2 yoga sessions a day; delicious breakfast and dinner at Simply Saffron for 4 days
