Going deep into a forward extension asana requires time as the muscles of the back of the body are strong and often short and tight. In a 3 hour workshop one can release and stretch the muscles very progressively, using a variety of techniques and props. This also ensures that the asanas are performed correctly, with no undue pressure on the spine.
