Join Amy for a 4-week series designed to set your yoga foundation. During our time together, we will explore all genres of poses, learn basic yoga terminology and philosophy, all in a supportive and FUN environment.

Ready to get back to basics? Would you like a deeper understanding of the foundations of yoga upon which you can build your practice? Welcome to Foundations of Yoga!
This 4 week series will cover the basic principals for those who are new/curious about the practice and also for those who simply want to get back to the basics of yoga.
Each week, we cover different elements in detail including (but not limited to):
fundamentals of vinyasa (flow) or linking movement with breath
simple centering and restorative tools modifications/usage of props (honoring and celebrating YOUR body)
We will provide a safe and supportive setting with plenty of opportunities for discussion so bring any questions you may have about the practice of yoga.
Our intention is to build your confidence and awareness of the practice of yoga, so that by the time the series is over, you feel comfortable and empowered to attend classes and to roll out your mat at home, without feeling intimidated or lost.
Questions are encouraged as we hope to foster a safe and supportive environment where we can all grow and learn together.
Dates: Sundays-Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22.

Non-Members: $99 for the four-week series of 90-minute classes
