Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga is a powerful style of yoga that focuses on bringing people to their fullest potential through asana (poses), meditation and self-inquiry. Though it is powerful, a variety of modifications are available to anyone who needs or wants them.
It is a sequence of 53 poses that build a lot of muscular and skeletal strength. All poses flow from one to the other (so they are not held very long). Also, child's pose is available to anyone who needs or wants it whenever in the sequence, so it is not as "intimidating" as people may think it is.
