Zen Yoga has its roots in traditional Japanese martial arts, as a form of healing injuries and developing the body’s strength, flexibility and endurance. Japanese Zen Yoga differs from Indian yoga styles as it is focused on dynamic movements, powerful breathing techniques to activate and balance the special energy centre in the abdominal area - Hara. While the Hara centre is charged and energized with active movements, the healing energy naturally flows to every part of the body during the relaxation and meditation part of Zen Yoga. There are several distinct areas of the body, like the neck, wrists and navel, where the natural flow of energy is disturbed. Zen Yoga techniques clear up the blockages and restores natural health. Zen Yoga is very efficient for improvement of many health conditions particularly weakness and pain in the muscles, chronic headache and migraine, asthma, anxiety, back and neck pain.
