A chance for your body to experience the wonderful benefits of Scaravelli Inspired yoga. This is a gentle approach yet a deep practice. It involves learning to listen to and use your body in a very different way.
Mindfulness is the beautiful practice of attending to the present moment in a non-judgemental, compassionate way. It sounds simple and studies have shown that it has numerous benefits; reducing stress, pain, finding a way to cope with painful events, negative emotions, improving concentration, enhancing positive emotions, reducing addictions, stimulating creativity, improving the immune system and other health benefits. Although a simple practice, it is not always easy to do so. During this week we will sample Mindfulness and explore ways we can build a practice to take home.
In addition, there will be a special introduction workshop to Thai Yoga Massage one afternoon. Thai Massage, with its grounding and deeply relaxing qualities, is the perfect antidote to our modern lifestyle stresses. With the release of holding and blockages, not only the body can regenerate, but the mind also has a chance to quieten down.
