Freeing the body - yoga holiday in Turkey
A real treat for your body, mind and spirit with two yoga sessions a day, the opportunity for nourishing treatments such as Thai Yoga Massage, Aroma Therapy or Ayurvedic Foot Treatments, the most delicious fresh vegetarian food and the unspoilt beauty of nature at Suleyman’s Garden offering the perfect setting to unwind, relax and revitalise.

The rest of the day is free to relax, enjoy the pool or nearby cove, chill at the beach, go walking in the shade of the pine forest or along the dramatic coastline, visit ancient sites or pursue other activities such as canoeing, riding or paragliding. On one of the days there will be no yoga, so we can take a trip to a wonderful and completely secluded spring water beach (optional). Non-yoga partners are also welcome to join us.

Katrin believes yoga is a never-ending exploration of the body and mind, and a way of discovering the beauty of life. As we bring the awareness to what is happening inside and where we are in the present moment, the body is encouraged to release where it is holding. Her relaxed and fun approach makes the practice accessible to everyone. She is mostly influenced by Hatha, Scaravelli and Sivananda traditions of yoga.
For Fairlie yoga is about connecting with the inherent wisdom of the body. Her yoga classes are an invitation to play with sensations of gravity, freeing the breath and awakening the spine, exploring openings and connections that our ‘normal’ movement and postural habits may not have allowed before. This different way of working with the body leads to a different experience of your being. You will be encouraged to work attentively and deeply and to experience the wonderful freedom of a mind and body at play, whether you are interested in learning the Scaravelli Inspired approach to yoga or simply looking to deepen your practice. Since 2003 she has followed the approach of the great teachers who were themselves students of Vanda Scaravelli: Diane Long, Sophy Hoare, John Stirk and others.
