Students will learn a variety of relaxing stretching movements to loosen up tight muscles, calm the body and release stress. Please bring mat and rolled-up towels (or pillow) to support your neck.
Please bring a yoga block, a yoga strap, and a big towel to class. All the props are going to make you more comfortable to stay in poses.

Welcome to Gentle Yoga. In this class you will learn the fundamental understanding of your body and mind, including abilities and limitations. We want to build awareness into our breath, body and mind. There is always a variation Yoga pose (Asana) for each unique individual. We will also introduce breathing exercise (Pranayama) and meditation in each class to reconnect our body, mind and inner peace. This class will take on a progressive approach which you will build strength and flexibility step by step in a slower pace. This class provides a safe, effective, and non-competitive environment that is welcoming to all levels.
Please bring your mat, blocks and straps to every class.
We will focus on different muscle groups each class to have a better understanding of our bodies and learn to cope and adjust to fit your needs.
