A week-long immersion into the practices, principles and philosophy of Gentle Yoga, for yoga teachers or serious students wishing to deepen their understanding and explore. The emphasis of this training is breath centered practice, mindful movement and loving-kindness. This is a unique opportunity to refine your skill set through the method of direct experience and self-inquiry. Using this approach, you will explore the fundamentals of Yoga (asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra and Yoga philosophy) and discover the practice in a whole new way. This kind of experiential learning creates a bridge between Yoga theory, practice and day-to-day life, making it applicable to personal health and well-being, your own yoga practice, or teaching Gentle Yoga to any population.
The Training is limited to 10 students. Registration cut-off date is Sat. August 20.
