Why not take some time out and explore your Yoga practice in more depth with our great value Spring Yoga weekend?
We'll be looking at the pancamaya model (the five layers of the human structure) and its use in improving health and well-being as the theme for the weekend. We'll be also be looking at how raw food might be useful in this context and practical ways to use it (other than salad!).
We'll have daily Yoga classes (inspired by the teachings of T Krishnamacharya and his son TKV Desikachar), workshops (including an introduction to raw food), relaxing Yoga Nidra, stunning hilltop walks and homemade vegetarian food to enjoy.
Students are free to do as much or as little as they wish during the weekend.
During previous weekends, attendees have used the free time available in a variety of ways. Some have chosen to go walking or running; either on their own or in informal groups. Others have used one of the communal spaces for discussions, reading (we bring a range of Yoga related books for people to use during the weekend and the centre also has a small library of fiction and other works), drawing or craft work. Others have chosen to find a quiet space (there are lots to choose from) or simply just take some well deserved time out. This allows attendees to tailor their weekend so that they can get the most benefit from it.
The cost of the weekend includes all meals and snacks from Friday evening until Sunday lunch (the food is home cooked and plentiful).
All rooms are provided on a single occupancy basis so there's no need to share unless you want to!
