Restorative Yoga is the use of props to support the body in positions of comfort and ease to facilitate health and relaxation.
Restorative Yoga is a powerful practice that everyone can benefit from, regardless of age or fitness level. It will help you release deeply held tensions, calm your nervous system, strengthen your immune system and increase self-awareness. Learn how to arrange your props for maximum benefit, based on each students unique anatomical proportion.
Hands-on Assists are a vital tool to increase awareness and offer encouragement using the sense of touch to help your students refine their practice. Hands-on Assists are therapeutic touch used to teach the proper alignment in yoga poses and are a good alternative to Demonstrating and Verbal Cueing.
