For the REATREAT, HAPPY BODY * PEACEFUL MIND, Bring your agenda with you, as this weekend is custom designed to your needs. We begin with each participant listing the things he or she would like help with, in your body as well as your mind and emotions. We compile a group list and format the whole weekend around that, teaching the poses and practices that meet your needs. Each pose is thoroughly explained – not only how to do it, but also why it is so important and how it works. In addition to the tools for your body, you will get tools for your mind, using the ancient principles of yoga’s practical philosophy to guide you through the inner maze to clarity and peace.

Addie Alex lives in Holliston, MA, where she teaches in her own studio, Light of the Heart Yoga. She has been teaching Svaroopa® Yoga for 9 years. She has completed many levels of advanced certifications in Svaroopa® yoga. In addition to being an Embodyment® Yoga Therapist, she leads yoga philosophy discussion groups and has served many teachers-in-training as a DTS Mentor. Addie brings the depth of her meditation practice with her into everything she does, which empowers her teaching as it does her life.
