Happy Hips Yoga Workshop
Release your hips! Everyday life can lead to discomfort and tightness in our hips – and lower back pain is also often connected to stiffness in the hip area.
This 2.5 hour workshop focuses on releasing tension through yoga postures that create fluidity in hip movement. Join us for a Sunday afternoon treat!

Why do we have such tight hips? Some of us lead a sedentary lifestyle; sitting for long periods of time at our desks. Some of us put our bodies through repetitive movements in activities like running and cycling. These lifestyles can cause shortening of the hip flexors (muscles in the hip and thigh area affecting the pelvis) and can lead to hip pain and lower back discomfort.
By lengthening and stretching the hip flexors, we can correct the alignment of the pelvis and relieve compression of the spine.
In this 2.5 hour yoga workshop, we’ll work progressively to explore various hip-releasing poses and enjoy the deep hip openers our bodies love!
Join us for this extended yoga practice and experience the benefits of releasing tightness in your hips and lower back.
This workshop is not for you if you have problems sitting or lying on the floor.
