Full Description

LOCATION:

The gorgeous ivory-colored cove of Agonda, known as "the silent beach", is situated in South Goa. It is a 5 km long sandy beach where you can swim with doplhins - a perfect hidden spot for relaxing getaway! At one end of Agonda beach, on the green hill overlooking the Arabian sea lies a peaceful yoga retreat place surrounded by abundant jungle vegetation.
12 simple bamboo huts each facing the sea, a traditional clay-floor open-air yoga shala with a stunning sea view, and a typical goan organic restaurant where you can enjoy fresh Indian dishes and a breath taking view of both the sea and the river – makes a perfect platform for diving deep into yogic way of living.

ACCOMODATION:

Indian-style bamboo huts with terrace facing the sea. Each hut has a double or a twin bed w/ bathroom with shower and hot water (on request), mosquito net and WiFi. You can choose your stay in a shared (double-occupancy) or in a single room.

Daily morning and evening yoga practice with certified experienced teachers

MEALS:

Daily Vegetarian brunch is included and chai / tea at any time. As there are many local restaurants to explore, you have the freedom to enjoy your lunch and dinner a'la carte in the on-site restaurant, or eat directly at the beach (on your expences).

YOGA PRACTICE:

We open the day with guided Pranayama and meditation (optional), followed by Ashtanga Mysore and Vinyasa Flow (you can choose the class you want to attend). The yogic practices will aim to reconnect to the simplicity and just Being, no appearing. Every evening we offer a restorative / yin yoga sessions, folllowed by silent meditative beach walk, Yoga Nidra or Tratak meditations. Additional Teacher Training module* available. The classes (for all-levels practitioners) are in english, but the teachers also speak German, Italian and Croatian. The sea-view shala is made in a traditional way, with the natural clay floor and a palm roof.

If you are a TT student or a 200 hrs certified teacher, by attending the retreat and additional TT modules you can earn Yoga Alliance credits (up to 50 TT hrs) with our certified E-RYT 500 teachers.
