The teacher training weekends will be taught in Mikrohori by Jenny Colebourne.
Jenny has been teaching yoga teachers since 1989.
Weekly classes at Illium are taught in Athens both by Jenny and Aggeliki.

The course consists of 10 weekends in Mikrohori, Kapandriti and regular attendance of yoga classes at Jenny Colebourne's Illium Centre of Light in Athens.
It is possible to attend the weekly classes through Skype if you live far away.

The course includes:
Analysis of the asanas in depth from a physical and a spiritual perspective.
Pranayama and the importance of the use of breathing in combination with the mind to deepen, even further, our physical and mental transformation.
Learning to surrender to the wisdom of the flow of the breath and kundalini energy.
Learning to have one pointed, relaxed but very specific focus. The use of healing touch to transfer energy and to encourage students to go deeper into the asanas and meditative states. The art of meditation and learning to trust our personal guidance.
Sound and vibration. The use of the voice as a teaching tool, the power of the mantra and hearing your own and other's inner messages.
How knowing the myths related to the asanas deepens our practice.
Experiencing the asanas on a cellular level.
Deep relaxation as a way to release the past, to let go of resistance and move deeper into both the asanas and meditation.
Learning to "see" beyond the body.
The responsibility one has, to carry the philosophy of yoga into your everyday life, the classes you teach and society.
This training course has been followed by experienced teachers who have benefited greatly.
Places are limited to 7 participents to ensure plenty of individual guidance.
Practical, written and teaching examinations.
A certificate will be awarded to successful students.
