Healing through the Energetic Body
Using breathing techniques, guided meditation and mudras, you will tune into your energetic body and learn methods for clearing and enhancing your vital energy body.
Type of Event
Traditional Eastern healing methods focus on the energetic body. Although in the west yoga is seen primarily as a means of relaxation and exercise, it too can be viewed as an energetic healing method akin to Reiki, acupuncture, and shiatsu.
In this workshop, Julia will lead you on an exploration of the vayus (channels of energy in the body). She will talk about the nadis, (akin to meridians in Chinese medicine), and explain how alternate nostril breathing balances the primary nadis. You will learn mudras—hand gestures-- and affirmations for each of the seven chakras.
When the energetic body, is balanced and in harmony, we feel better physically and emotionally and have more vitality.
