A 13 HANDS sound meditation, concert /Kirtan experience blends sacred Indian and world chant, rhythms & inspirational songs to create positive vibrations that open the heart and allow for anyone to explore their voice in a fun and empowering setting. Instrumentation such as hang drum, native flutes, ambient, live looping, harmonium, & various percussion, create a wonderful, musical interactive, healing and spiritually healing and you’ll have lots of FUN getting to explore and use your voice as you become part of the “13 HANDS world chant band” for a night!
The night begins with an opening sound meditation with gongs, vocal chant, hang drum and flutes to set intentions for peace, healing and giving ourselves this gift of relaxation and renewal.
Then on to the chanting and devotional Perhaps even a Christmas tune!

13 HANDS events are family friendly…
all tribe members welcome….
no chant experience necessary…ever!
The evening will open with a powerful centering sound meditation with flutes, hang drum and other ambient instrumentation as well!

ABOUT PRESENTER
13 HANDS, aka DALIEN, is a two-time Grammy nominee, Professor of Yoga, ERYT500 instructor, kirtankar, presenter and sound therapist who has been immersed in many studies, approaches and styles of yoga, holistic health education, shamanism and contemporary/ world chant music for over 20 years. A survivor of Crohns disease, he healed himself completely through a very inspiring journey to go on and implement this wisdom and stages of healing into the programs, workshops, teacher training modules, concerts and personal development work he shares to help people with general health, stress reduction issues and in the recovery of post traumatic stress disorder symptoms. Additionally, his instrumental healing music that has been proven to reduce anxiety and improve sleeping challenges. He shares with joy, love, passion, community, a super sense of humor and has shared those gifts presenting along side and/or with at events with Jack Kornfield, Anne Lamott, Mark Nepo, Snatam Kaur, Shiva Rea, Seane Corn, Dr. Masaru Emoto, Gary Null, Amy Ippoliti, Dharma Mitra, Elena Brower, RUN DMC, Ani DiFranco, Marjorie Fair, Ours, Paula Cole, Laurie Anderson, the late Pheobe Snow and beloved Shyamdas, Krishna Das, WAH!, Dave Stringer and many with many other wonderful teachers, healers and artists at festivals, ashrams, retreat centers like Kripalu, Omega, ECA, WSSC fitness conferences and other spiritual/yoga events like Yoga the Great Lawn, Global Mala, Sounds True Wake Up Festival & Wanderlust NYC to name a few.
