Human Posture 101

This workshop explores the basics of posture in a vertically oriented spine (the human body.)

Questions answered include:
What is Posture?
How does posture relate to our chronic ease/discomfort?
How do our emotions show up in the posture?
Through this workshop you'll discover: Boney landmarks in your body, postural markers to check in with on yourself and introductory concepts about neurological patterning, recruitment order, and the difference between a Core muscle and a Prime mover.

About Hannah:

In 2007, Hannah attended the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, one of the most prestigious Massage Therapy education facilities in the United States. She graduated in June of 2008 with over 1,120 hours of hands-on education in massage and bodywork. In addition to that work she also studied and now utilizes Myofascial Release and Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy in her massages as well.

Hannah is also a RYT 200 from the Shambhava School of Yoga in Rollinsville, Colorado.

She practices and teaches Yin Yoga as well as classical Hatha Yoga.

Hannah's skillful, soulful classes and workshops weave her broad knowledge and awareness of the human body with compassionate understanding and depth. Practicing with Hannah will awaken in you a deeper understanding of your own physical patterns and how to better meet your body's needs with honesty and integrity.
