The week includes transfer to and from the airport, 4 nights in the villa with all meals, bike and kayak hire and daily guided tour, hiking excursion, daily stretch classes and professional advice on nutrition and other training requirements and transfer to the event.
The event itself will include 1 night in a tent and 2 nights in a standard hotel, transfer of bags and belongings to next location, kayaks and mountain bikes, tents and camping equipment, food and drinks, warm up and stretch class at beginning and end of each day, and plenty of fun and laughter. All charity donations and expenses for the event have been included already in your full payment for the Top Hill Yoga+ Retreat and Ibiza Charity Event.

Top Hill Yoga+ Retreats will be supporting Walking Ibiza and Bespoke Ibiza who have come together to create Ibiza Charity Adventure: an exhilarating four-day program of hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and many more surprise outdoor activities in aid of two well deserved charities, APNEEF and the Samasound Association. Embarking on the wonders of this challenge and embracing the beauty of nature, this adventure is set to lead you on a journey of self-discovery – a way to shed the layers of everyday life and a trial which, once achieved will undoubtedly freshen your outlook on pretty much everything. As well as opening up your own horizons, your adventure will help generate more opportunities too for organisations which work selflessly to improve the lives of children with disabilities and cancer patients.

-- Detailed program 18 - 21 APRIL: Let’s get prepared for the adventure!

Your week will begin with the first four nights of your adventure spent at the luxurious Top Hill villa receiving last minute preparation and guidance for your body and mind to fully prepare you for this challenging event. Our professional and personal onsite chef will be offering you a fantastic menu plan to boost your energy levels, and you will have the chance to familiarise yourself with your bike and kayak, to explore the local landscape, and acclimatise to the beautiful spring weather. You will receive expert advice on how to care for your body during these days, tips on nutrition, learn specific stretching and muscle releasing techniques and guidance on how to make each day of your challenge a unique and pleasurable experience. We will be sure you are totally ready for this incredible event.

-- Detailed program: 22 - 25 APRIL Ibiza Charity Adventure

Sleep under the stars, feel the warmth of the wind as it rushes through your hair on a cliff road overlooking the Mediterranean, dive into crystal clear waters in a beautiful hidden cove, race through lush, green forests and discover the wonder of the magical island of Ibiza. Now in its second year this challenge is designed to take your breath away while raising money for two fantastic causes, or you can pledge money to your own chosen charity if you prefer.

-- DAY 1

The 1-day adventure starts in the medieval Unesco heritage old town of Ibiza with its winding cobbled streets. You will be kitted out with the latest top quality mountain bikes and soon be out of the old town and passing the stunning scenery of the salt flats.
Following the coast with a few stops for a swim and lunch you will complete 65 kms ending up at Cala Compte where the kayaks will be waiting for us. It is then a 10 kms kayak (approx 3 hours) including some wonderful caves before ending up at a secret location where you will spend the night under the stars, sharing your days adventure around the camp fire, whist refuelling yourself with some nutritious and nourishing home made food.

-- DAY 2

Waking early to a lovely breakfast we load up the kayaks with supplies and head off for a challenging 30 kms in the kayaks (approx. 9 hours). We follow the west coast of Ibiza under the gaze of spectacular 350 meters cliffs and bays. The first place to land is after about 4 hours where we rest enjoying a well earned lunch in a beautiful secluded `C` shaped bay only accessible by foot and from the sea. After lunch we continue passing lovely vistas and some massive caves completing the day in the North of Ibiza staying in a welcoming hostal where a much needed hot
shower and dinner will be waiting.

-- DAY 3

This day is a wonderful hiking day of 25 kms, hugging the sea around Crystal Coast named after its energising crystals which we will use to recharge ourselves as we continue through ancient terraced farmland stopping in secluded bays for refreshing dips in the ocean. Our break for lunch will be under the shelter of a rare oak tree, before we follow our trail past the most northerly point of Ibiza, then head South homeward bound! The night is spent in a lovely hotel on the coast.

-- DAY 4

After a substantial breakfast, we are back on our familiar mountain bike for the 50 kms homeward stretch. We will be waved and cheered on by spectators following our progress on-line via the live gps. After passing a few towns we are then back into the forests with the lovely smell of the pine trees. Continuing down ancient lanes, and passing some amazing modern villas, we catch a first glimpse of Ibiza Old town. The end is in site and we race for the finish to complete this incredible 4-day challenge.
A cheering crowd and popping champagne bottles welcome us to the finishing line! Being Ibiza the party has just begun, and after a quick shower and change of clothes we enjoy our final celebration dinner, and for those still up for it, onwards to one of the infamous clubs…

All guests should have adequate experience with mountain biking, kayaking and hiking. Fitness levels should be good, however, this is not an event specifically for professionals! All outdoor sports enthusiasts are welcome, however please carefully read the schedule and be sure to familiarise yourself with the demands of each day and be responsible for ensuring adequate and appropriate footwear and clothing for each activity and a sleeping bag for the one night camping.
