Indian Cooking: Lentil Cooking Class with Kalpana
Many people like to become vegetarian but do not know how to go about supplementing protein in their diet. Legumes and lentils are great sources of protein and are an integral part of the Indian vegetarian diet. The purpose of this class is to learn a variety of ways to include lentils in our food.
This class will introduce two lentil recipes along with a few other Indian recipes. We will be preparing a full Indian meal and will have Dinner together.

These Recipes we will be preparing:
1) Moong Dal (Indian style lentil soup)
2) Salad With Lentils (Carrots, Cucumber, Tomato, Potato and Lentils)
3) Mutter Paneer (Green peas gravy with Indian cheese)
4) Chapati (Indian bread with whole wheat flour. I will be teaching 2/3 styles of Indian bread). Everyone will get chance to make chapati. Please bring your roller pin with you.
