Full Description

Intro Series I at Nourish Or, know the following poses:
Trikonasana (Triangle), Garudasana (Eagle), Danurasana (Floor Bow) or Ustrasana (Camel); Setu Bhanda (Bridge), Chattaranga (Low Push Up), Adho Mukha Svanasana (Down Dog), Virasana (Hero’s Pose)

Learning Outcomes:
• Review Foundation & Key Standing Poses from Intro Series I
• Become more adept with using props in order to advance and deepen your practice
• Refine your yoga poses and alignment to build a fuller expression and obtain more integration in each pose
• Be introduced to more intermediate level standing poses, backbends, forward bends & hip opening, basic arm balances and inversions
• Learn the English and Sanskrit names of the poses that are part of the curriculum
• Learn several meditation and pranayama (breath) practices
