Intro to Ayurveda

Ayurveda is said to be the sister science to yoga and an ancient holistic system of medicine from India. It is based on the theory that each individual is comprised of a unique energetic constitution, or “dosha”. Dosha-specific diet and lifestyle recommendations are provided to maintain wellness and balance in each individual.

Dosha-specific diet and lifestyle recommendations are provided to maintain wellness and balance in each individual. In the event of disease, or imbalance, ayurveda uses dosha-specific herbs to treat the root cause (physical, mental and/or spiritual) so as to eradicate the sickness and bring the individual back to whole body wellness. It is still used today because – it works! Learn basic ayurveda principles and how to apply them to receive instant benefits in a fun, interactive way!
