This is a 6 week series that starts on Saturday January 3rd at 11:30 - 1:00pm. We will meet every Saturday through February 7th.
This 6-week series will lead the first-time/beginner yoga student through a complete introduction to yoga: a break-down of basic yoga postures with teacher demonstration, time to practice the postures, and time for questions. Each class will build upon the previous leading up to an enjoyable, slow flow, full-length practice. Since the class will be together for 6 weeks, expect some time allotted in the 1st class to get to know each other, talk about yoga, and go over a few essential yoga postures. In subsequent classes expect time for review, Q&A, breathwork, warm-up, learning new postures, a beginner's level flow and relaxation. This series is intended for beginners, but will have leveled instruction for all ability levels. This class is also curvy friendly and all bodies are welcome. Come learn how to make yoga work for your body, and not the other way around. You will build a solid foundation for your yoga practice that will keep you coming back to your mat for life.
This class will meet on Saturdays from 11:30am - 1pm starting on January 3rd. This is a great way to begin a practice and to start the new year! The cost is $110 per person and pre-registration is required. Space is limited to 12.
