Introduction to Meditation
Ever wanted to try meditation? Join Rachel for an accessible and fun introduction to meditation in our beautifully peaceful wellness space.

£15 early bird before 27th May or £17.50 drop in.
The session will begin with a short discussion about meditation, its purpose and benefits. This will be followed by time allocated to finding the most suitable position for you to sit in, several different options will be suggested (sitting on a chair is always an option so don’t worry if you’ve got tight hips), and clear guidance will be given on how to sit with good posture.
Rachel will introduce two meditation techniques and will guide you through each meditation for around 25 minutes, (don’t worry, you’re not expected to be able to sit perfectly still, it’s fine to change your posture). In between the two meditations there will be a ten minute break to stretch your legs! At the end of the session there will be plenty of time to ask questions.
The session is ideal for those with little or no experience of meditation but will also be beneficial and enjoyable to more experienced meditators – you are all welcome!
