Are you stressed, anxious, or just looking for ways to become more peaceful, centered and happy! Then this workshop is for you! The benefits of meditation are endless and many recent studies have shown that brain function and structure actually changes in consistent mediators. Gray matter increases, symptoms of depression, anxiety and even dementia decrease substantially.

This 3 hour Introduction to Mindfulness & Meditation will be very practical and provide you with the basics on meditation; the how and whys. We will practice a number of different types of Meditation and discuss how to find time for a consistent Meditation practice in your busy schedule & ways to become for Mindful. A very detailed handout will be provided that will summarize everything covered in the workshop and provide resources on the studies about meditation, websites, books, cds etc.
