Learn how Yoga can transform your health and life.
No previous experience necessary. Ability to sit on the floor, lie on the floor and stand up is all that is required to begin this course.
Build a good foundation for any yoga practice. Many teachers benefit from the solid grounding in basic yoga principles learned in this course.
Gentle step by step instruction on how to safely practice basic yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation.
Each class includes a short talk on the basics of yoga and meditation. Topics will include What is Yoga; Benefits of Yoga; and the Five points of Yoga: Proper Exercise, Proper Breathing, Proper Relaxation, Proper Diet, and Positive Thinking and Meditation.
This is essentially the course designed by Swami Vishnudevanada and taught in Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers worldwide.
