Many men are hesitant to join a yoga class, as they are intimidated by the
apparent natural flexibility of women, who usually are in the majority.
Up to the early 1900's yoga was only for men. Not taught in class format,
but handed from male teacher to male student directly.
This is an opportunity for men of all ages and fitness levels to
be introduced to the basics of a physical yoga practice, and the resultant positive effects on body & mind.
Males inherently have stronger and tighter shoulder, hips, leg and back
muscles. This limits circulation, compromises posture, and creates tension
in the mind which is throughout the body.
The workshop is designed to access these areas to promote length in the muscle and space in the joints.
