Inversions & Arm Balances for Beginners
No pose is beyond your capability – you just need a map and the personal drive to get there!
Take this 4 week session and learn how to work your way up to some of Yoga’s most beautiful, challenging and rewarding poses, in a safe and supportive environment.
Don’t feel intimidated :) All levels are encouraged to try.

This is a 4 week session. Saturdays 2:00 - 3:30pm, January 25 to February 22.
Due to the "Family Day" long weekend, there will be no class on February 15.
Handstand (Adho Mukha Vrksasana)
Peacock Feather (Pincha Mayurasana)
Two Legged Arm Balance (Dwi Pada Koundinyasana)
One Legged Balance (Eka Pada Galavasana)
One Leg Over Arm Balance (Eka Hasta Bhujasana)
We will break down the steps necessary to get to each of these poses and safely guide you through them. You will only be encouraged to progress to the next step as you are ready.
Postures that help develop the strength and flexibility needed for these challenging poses will also be taught, along with restorative poses that will keep your body feeling good as you are working at your edge.
