iRest Yoga Nidra supports psychological, physical, and spiritual health, healing, resiliency, well-being, and awakening. iRest is a secular and accessible practice, open to anyone at any stage of their life’s journey.
iRest Yoga Nidra has proven to effectively support the healing process
across a broad range of populations, including those with PTSD, chronic pain, sleep issues, stress-related issues, depression and anxiety.
A growing body of research shows the effectiveness of practicing iRest Yoga Nidra across a variety of populations and health-related issues. As a result, in June of 2010, US Army Surgeon General and Defense Centers of Excellence endorsed iRest Yoga Nidra (based on research with iRest) as a complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). iRest Yoga Nidra is being taught worldwide in yoga studios, sleep clinics, hospitals, VA sites, rehabilitation and healthcare facilities, hospice, prisons, universities, schools, and private practice settings. iRest is the result of over forty years of observation, research, and hands-on development by Dr. Richard Miller.
CE hours may be available for YA, PSY, MFT, LCSW, and RN. Please check.
