The yoga is aimed at those with at least 12 months experience of Iyengar yoga. If you are from another style of yoga and would like to join us, you should have a good regular practice of 2 years and it's a good idea to attend some Iyengar classes before you come so as to get the best from your retreat experience.
Monte na Luz is a fantastic retreat centre for yoga and meditation. It is quiet and serene and yet only 30 minutes from Faro airport and 20 minutes from the extensive Algarvian coast. Rachel has been teaching here since 2010 and has run retreats since 2003 in the Algarve. She is a fully qualified and experience Iyengar yoga teacher holding the Iyengar Certification Mark and Junior Intermediate Level III qualification.
Although the yoga is aimed at an intermediate level, it is also a holiday so you will be in relaxing and comfortable surroundings. The food is fabulous and the company friendly. Check the website for more details.
