Iyengar Yoga Intensive with K-Lea Gifford
Through the 8 limbs of Yoga, particularly Asana and Pranayama, we have an opportunity to open ourselves to deeper layers of self-exploration. This workshop is for all levels of Yoga practitioners. Participants are encouraged to bring a translation of Patanjali's Yoga Sutra’s.
Type of Event
Morning classes will be devoted to a strong Asana (posture practice), as a reflection of our present state of consciousness. Afternoon sessions will focus on Pranayama (breathing exercises), bridging the illusory gap between the physical and the spiritual; and the ultimate reason to practice Hatha Yoga, which is Dharana (meditation practice), the direct communion with spirit.
