Susan Marcus, has been practicing since 1986 and is a Certified Iyengar Teacher at the Intermediate Junior I level. She has completed more than 1000 hours of Iyengar Continuing Education. Her teachers include Suzie Muchnick & Joan White. Susan studied with Dr. Geeta Iyengar and Mr. Prashant Iyengar at the Ramamani Memorial Institute in Pune, India in 2008.

Susan recently participated as an instructor and co-author of a pilot study of Iyengar yoga for Aromatase Inhibitor- associated Joint Pain in Women recovering from breast cancer, conducted at the Moffit Cancer Center in Tampa, FL.

Susan brings a passion and enthusiasm to her teaching that encourages students to develop their skills and enhance their understanding of yoga as a path of self- awareness. "Your yoga mat is your laboratory for observing who you are in the moment, without judgment or distraction."
