About IYM - at our retreats, you will work with your mind as much as your body, learning how to unlock your
flexibility and how to work with your stiffest muscle, the one between your ears. Practising in the heated
pavilion, we will teach you about 1st and 2nd brain intelligence and how to listen, connect and communicate
using both – in standalone mindfulness practices and IYM sequences. You can use this approach as a toolkit to self-reference wherever you are and whatever you are doing.
About the Old Pavilion – it has 16 acres to explore and camp in. Please bring your own tent or choose one of the other accommodation options - the shepherd’s hut, summer-house, and main house bedrooms can be booked at additional cost. We have hot showers and toilet facilities exclusively for our retreat making it ideal
for groups and families.
Children’s activities – these (including yoga) take place in the yurt and are suitable for ages 5/6 upwards. The holiday course offers the perfect balance between learning a new skill while having a great time.
Round and about - in the locality there are many beaches, water-sports and attractions including picturesque villages, Dartmoor with its famous walking scenery, pony trekking and stunning coastal scenery.
Please bring – tent, sleeping bag etc… cooking equipment for camping (there is a fully equipped kitchen for communal cooking); torches; yoga clothing, mat and any equipment you usually use.
Volunteer – let us know if you would lead preparing and cooking one evening meal.
