Full Description

SESSION 1 // SATURDAY 6th FEB // 1pm - 2.30pm

'Purna Yoga Masterclass with a focus on alignment and cues for potential teacher trainers'

In the first session John will take students through a dynamic sequence of Purna Yoga poses.

Although the session is for all levels, John will design his commentary to demonstrate to potential teacher trainees how to construct a class offering variations for beginners through to the advanced.

2.30pm - 3.30pm - BREAK (tea provided)

In the break students will have the opportunity for an informal discussion with John about becoming a yoga teacher and ask questions about the part time courses starting in Adelaide in March.

SESSION 2 // SATURDAY 6th FEB // 3pm - 4.30pm

'Explore Shoulderstand and Headstand with modifications and variations. Fun for all levels

In the second session of this workshop John will guide students into shoulder-stands and onto head-stands – the King and Queen of poses. Students will be offered variations and modifications so all levels can participate and explore their edge.

These incredibly therapeutic poses will be incorporated into a fun sequence. John has done substantial research on the chakras and their connection to our endocrine system. The sequence balances the chakras, addressing hormonal imbalances, opening the heart and leaving you feeling energised and joyful!

4.30pm // Informal chat with John Ogilvie about the part time teacher training in Adelaide, starts 5 March
