Journey through the Chakras
YMCA Yoga teachers Trish and Sarah have come up with a workshop to explore each of the 7 chakras of the body. We've put together poses and sequences to open and align the chakras and enhance your yoga practice.

Perhaps you feel anxious; this could be related to your root chakra, Warrior 1 is a great pose for helping you connect to the earth, giving you a sense of grounding. If perhaps you feel stuck in a rut; try child's pose to physically activate and bring awareness to your brow chakra, this can help us access inner wisdom and imagination.
