In this workshop you'll learn neuroplastic techniques to rehearse positive experiences and turn them into lasting neural change. You'll also learn how to catch the triggers of stress you're hardwired to respond to, and instead redirect your focus and attention back to joy, positivity, compassion, and strength.
Topics we'll cover in this series include:
How the mind shapes the brain: neurons that fire together, wire together
How the human brain is evolutionarily biased to remember and relate to negative experiences, increasing stress and inflammation
How to use specific mindfulness techniques to encode positive experiences in the brain and embody them as physical sensations
How to identify and interrupt the common triggers of stress that prevent us from feeling love and joy
