Meet your Sacred Dance and Inner Empowerment Facilitator
Following an innate fascination for movement and the profound self empowerment and healing it can give; Katie has been dancing from the age of three, with over 20 years experience in Arabic Dance. Katie has also studied Ballet, Tap, Modern, African, Samba, Bollywood, Sacred Nepalese Buddhist dances, Sufi Whirling, Tai Chi, Qi Gung, Osho Dynamic meditation, Gurdjieff Sacred dances and is currently studying Bharatnatyam, Tantra and Balinese dance.
Through dance, dynamic movement, a vegan yogic lifestyle, exploration and intention Katie has deepened her own personal level of Self-observation, understanding, psychic awareness, teaching and holding sacred space. This has also gave her a deep connection to the natural world and access to previously unknown knowledge and strengths within her that she has then been able to share with others.

To enthuse this inspirational, magical energy to all she meets!
Your Raw Vegan Chef and Yoga Teacher
Having fallen in love with the magical essence of Bali for it’s natural beauty, spiritual offerings and so much more. Tracy the founder of Raw Happy, is ecstatic to be co hosting her first of many health orientated retreats in Ubud with Katie. Tracy has been on a vibrational, plant based adventure over the past two years, seeing her work and train alongside Kate Magic (Raw Living) and Stephanie Jeffs (Explore Raw).
Tracy hosts a number of healthy living inspired events over the UK, mainly Cheltenham, Worcester and Solihull, including dinner parties, workshops and raw food deliveries.
Her beginners Plant based ‘Uncookery’ school saw a great success in 2015, with 2016 dates already in place. See full listings of events at Tracy’s knowledge and passion for healthy, living foods is forever growing and evolving, bringing her extreme pleasure in sharing this with you on our first Kashtat Bedu Bali Retreat.
“Following a plant-based diet has been revolutionary to me and significantly improved my health, well-being and general outlook on life. I'm not here to dictate that you must follow a strict raw vegan lifestyle and diet; it's about finding the right balance for you as an individual. If that means introducing 50% raw with every meal or having a 'raw day', eating raw 'til 4pm and a cooked evening meal, or substituting one meal a day for raw, just listen to your needs and find the groove that compliments your lifestyle and makes you happy inside and out”.
Ubud is not only rich in culture, beauty and nature, the area is blessed with an abundance of locally grown, fresh and organic produce. Your time on this divine retreat will help you to discover and experience this, through an array of lovingly created and prepared plant based delights.
Tracy compliments her healthy lifestyle with daily yoga practice and believes the raw food and yoga compliment each other so well. Eating a high plant based diet and tuning into your inner conscious through a regular yoga practice allows you to become more in harmony with your cell frequency. You will truly start to experience a wonderful magic within your own body and soul and see this manifest into the wondrous world around you.
The Vinyasa Flow style of yoga is born from the essence that you almost dance through the postures on your mat, which from Tracy’s extensive dance training background comes naturally through her class choreography. Intelligent sequencing of the practice, links the flow of the movement to the breath in a fluid and steady manner. The Vinyasa variation of yoga allows participants to feel evenness through the postures with comfort and fluidity. Classes are centred around a beautiful mix of pranayama (breath work), meditation and asana (postures). Upbeat and carefully selected music allows you to become present in your practice and feel the vibrations of your flow. Classes are structured for all levels and abilities.
“Yoga, dance and raw food will save the world!”
