Kids Yoga Term 4
All classes provide a balance of dynamic and relaxing activities and include all the major modalities or “limbs” of yoga including asana (postures), pranayama (breath work), meditation and relaxation and yogic philosophy (values and attributes that foster a grounded, balanced, compassionate and resilient child).

This is 8 week course for 6-10 year olds.

casual rate: $15 per class
Children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. But additionally, and most would say, most importantly, in today’s way of life, children are able to develop a sense of calm and well being as they they learn skills to help improve their concentration, emotional intelligence and resiliency.
When doing yoga, children don’t just exercise and play. They connect more deeply with the inner self, develop a more intimate relationship with the natural world and are able to connect more genuinely with others as they develop compassion, respect and self esteem.
