About the Director:

Hari Nam Singh Khalsa is a renowned spiritual teacher, having given workshops and counseling sessions throughout the world, including Europe, South America and China. He has been interviewed extensively on television, radio and in the press.
Hari Nam had the honor and privilege of being personally trained for almost 30 years by Yogi Bhajan, the legendary spiritual master who first introduced Kundalini Yoga and Sikh Dharma to the West back in the late 1960s.
Over the past 30 years, Hari Nam has taught and counseled literally thousands of individuals and couples in regard to virtually every aspect of human endeavor. He is also founder and director of both Yoga Heaven (venue for teaching) and The Center for Existential and Spiritual Counseling (venue for counseling). He is certified as a professional teacher trainer through the auspices of the Kundalini Research Institute.
Born and raised in the New York City metropolitan area, Hari Nam has had a varied and successful educational and professional background. He has earned his degrees at the University of Maryland (, Political Science), St. John's University Law School (, Law), University of San Diego Law School (, Taxation), College for Financial Planning (), and Lewis and Clark College (, Counseling Psychology).
At one time or other he has been an attorney, financial investment advisor, professional photographer and even a New York City cabdriver. Hari Nam has countless passions in life, to name a few: the New York Yankees, the New York Giants, jazz, opera, art, travel, hiking and great cuisine.
Other than his longing for the divine, Hari Nam's greatest passion in life is for his remarkable wife, Kulwant Kaur Khalsa, who hails from beautiful Mazatlan, Mexico. They built their relationship without the benefit of speaking each other's native tongue, proving the ultimate power of faith and true love. Hari Nam is now bilingual in Spanish, teaching and counseling extensively in Latin America.
Hari Nam Singh is an ordained minister in the Sikh faith. He is also a member of Khalsa Council, which is the governing body for Sikh Dharma in the Western Hemisphere.
