Full Description

The purpose of Kundalini practice is to uncoil your Kundalini energy- which we all have- In the base of our spine. Health, strength, flexibility, deep relaxation and de stressing, and coming to meet our true selves are some of the many possible benefits.
Although it is still one of the lesser known types of yoga, Kundalini is one of the oldest forms – it has been practiced by the Upanishads in India since 500 Yogi Bhajan brought Kundalini to the West in 1969.
Kundalini is quite different to other forms of yoga. Expect to hold long poses, breathe deeply, chant , meditate and even dance!– no two classes are the same! It is great for beginners- you can go at your own pace, while still pushing yourself a little past your comfort zone. It often appeals to those who have previously not enjoyed practicing yoga.
